The NBC Heads Up Championship is down to 16 players.

In the Clubs bracket, David Chesnoff beat Dan Harrington, James McManus beat Mike Sexton, Josh Arieh beat Eli ELezra and Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson defeated Chip Reese. My pick to reach the semi finals from this group is Chris Ferguson.

In the Hearts bracket (I love how they have split up the draw by suits too - it's a good idea) TJ Cloutier out-bombmed the unabomber Phil Laak, Daniel Negreanu ousted Greg Raymer, David Grey beat 'The Matador' Carlos Mortensen, and Sean Sheikhan beat the legend, Doyle Brunson. My pick to finish on the top of this group is Daniel Negreanu as he's been playing heads up online a lot lately.

In the Spades 1/4 of the draw we had Huck Seed over Erick Lingdren, Scott Fischman over Dee Luong, Amir Vahedi beat Mike Caro and Bary Greenstein eliminated Tuan Le. This is a tough one to pick, but I'm going with Barry Greenstein.

Finally the hearts bracket saw Ted Forrest beat Chad Brown, Ernie Dureck defeated Paul Phillips, Sam Farha sent Barry Shulman packing and Michael Mizrachi beat Howard Lederer. I think Ted Forrest has what it takes to represent the Hearts in the Semi Finals.

Some results just in are that Barry Greenstein, Huck Seed and Chris Ferguson have advanced to the Quarter Finals.
