Poker.com Staff swept aside by River Demons.
The Forum Team League champions, River Demons, threw out a challenge to the Poker.com staff after their league win and today they had their chance to add to their championship glory, with the scalp of the Poker.com staff team.
The championship (and team league) experience of river dogs shone through with the Poker.com staff cannibalizing their own early with Liam and Helen dropping a lot of chips to other staff members early before being eliminated in 9th and 8th respectively. When Scott was taken out in 7th place by Cerberi the Poker.com staff were well and truly on the ropes. Skinski and James falling in quick succession to Kris opened a very slim window of opportunity, and when Cerberi fell to Paul confidence was high in the Poker.com offices. Gupta had other ideas though, and soon knocked out Paul to give the River Demons the win, then going one better and taking Kris down in heads up to add individual honors to the team win.
