90% of Americans think poker should be legal

Independant market research company, ICR has completed a survey of the American public on behalf of the Poker Players' Alliance.

Their results are not good for any upcoming bills looking to outlaw poker.

These results were cut and pasted from the Alliance's website.

It looks like the people have spoken....

If you haven't signed up already, go and join the PPA, they're a non-profit organisation doing great things for the American People's right to play poker in the privacy of their homes.

  • I think the questions are a bit leading. If you ask should the federal government prevent Americans from doing anything, (spitting, cursing, picking their nose in public, etc) people will vote no.

    Iteresting that the 2 poll answers that got the most "yes votes" dealt with internet poker.

    But over all I do believe the feds should back off the subject, and just make sure the age limit is followed.
