It's good to see that High Stakes Poker has been picked up for a second season by GSN.
The TV show, which broadcasts big money cash game play from the Golden Nugget Casino, gave great insight into the personalities that play in Las Vegas' biggest cash games. Minimum buy-in was $50,000 to sit at the table and it is slated to rise to $100,000 in season 2.
“As the only poker cash game on television, this series lets fans learn how the poker legends play when risking huge amounts of their own money,” said Rich Cronin, President and CEO of GSN.
“High Stakes Poker has exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to the second season for this exciting, one of a kind poker show.”
The finale of the first season of High Stakes Poker airs this Monday, April 10th, at 9 PM.
