Conspiracy Theory # 234

Tuesday, May 09, 2006

Today we got a good one. Apparently the Poker.com software gives winning hands to different seats at different times of the day.

A phyics professor (they always are) contacted us with his theory of how depending on what time it is a different seat at the table will win every hand. He included a screenshot of the winning timezones for each seat and said he had complied 3 years of data, even though it is only Poker.com's 1st birthday this month..... Oops...

We told him he was cazy and wished him luck. If his theory was correct he should win millions by switching to the 'winning seat' every hour.

Then he got on live chat and pretended to be from an Australian Gaming Commission. Little did he know that the particular organisation he was representing only deals with horse racing and slot machines.....

Anyway - just another day in the life of working at Poker.com, dealing with the crazies yet to understand how everything really works. As I told one of our our favorite forum posters - they'd be better off hunting the Sasquatch or men from Mars - bag one of those suckers and you'll be rich!
