Life Exotic is what they have to say about themselves at the Mirage Las Vegas, and its no different when the WPT rolls into town for the Mirage Poker Showdown.

We love exotic life here at Poker.com and with the likes of Evelyn Ng, Vanessa Rouso, Jean Gluck and Erica Schoenberg lined up we knew the Mirage would certainly have our attention for the next few days.

With day one is in the bag the exotic stakes have taken an early blow with Evelyn Ng and Vanessa Rousso making exists.

Other big names are out of the running for the $1,294,755 firt prize include Jen Harmon, Layne Flack, Allen Cunningham, Mike Matusow, Tuan Le, Joe Bartholdi, T.J. Cloutier, Freddy Deeb, Carlos Mortensen, Scott Fischman, Dan Harrington, Erick Lindgren, Lyle Berman, Todd Brunson, David "The Dragon" Pham, and Antonio Esfandiari.

With 384 entries there are still plenty of big names left, unfortunatly none are as beautiful as the like of Ng and Rousso.

David Williams is the early leader with $180,000 in chips, nearly double his nearest opponent, Robert Mizrachi who has $105,000

Other big names coming back on day two are John Juanda, Huck Seed, Minh Nguyen, Gavin Smith, Barry Shulman, John Phan, Kenna James, Eli Elezra, Phil Ivey, Josh Arieh, Chad Brown, Daniel Negreanu, Chip Jett, and good old Robin Hood Barry Greenstein.

There is no word on weather my new favorite poker player, the beautiful Jean Gluck is still alive, since I haven't seen her name listed as being eliminated I'm holding on to the hope that she is still there.
