Day 4 Recap
Play finished up here around 1:30AM, with only 135 left (about 165 more players are out than expected). Play will continue tomorrow with only 135 players, paying around $47,000 at this position. Day 6 was supposed to take 150 players down to 60, so we could see day 5 run well ahead of time and make that goal a day earlier.
Jamie Gold finishes the day as chip leader with 3,700,000 in chips.
2005 World Series of Poker Champion, Joseph Hachem was eliminated in 238th position when his pocket aces were cracked on a three-way, all-in when Andrew Schreibman spiked a set of Jacks on the flop. Hachem's hand did not improve and he left the tournament taking home $42,882.
Hachem's Aussie rival Mark Vos (2006 bracelet winner in the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em Event) busted early today in 457th position and will take another $26,389 home to Australia.
Other notable bustouts today include Tom McEvoy at 371st and Daniel Negreanu at 221st taking home $42,882 for his efforts.
