Current chip leader, Rafael "Raphl" Perry, is well on the way to taking home his second WSOP bracelet for 2006.
His first bracelet win came on July 18, in the $1,500 pot limit Omaha event, where the seasoned poker pro was able to walk away with $200,000 in cash.
In 2006, Ralph represented Russia at the inaugural Intercontinental Poker Championship but was eliminated in the semi-finals.
As of July 2006, Perry's live tournament earnings exceed $1,400,000, but if his good fortune can continue into Day 2, that amount will only continue to grow.
