Richard Lee falls hard!

Thursday, August 10, 2006

Whenever the two chip leaders tangle feathers fly, and the last hand was no exception.

Jamie Gold re-raised a Richard Lee raise and Lee decided to make a move and pushed all in, Jamie Gold once again yelped and jumped out of his chair as Lee showed pocket Jacks dominated by Gold's pocket Queens.

With no help form the board Lee quickly fell from 2nd in chips to out of the tournament, taking home $2,803,851 for his troubles.

Once again though its the short stacks that are smiling, while Gold streaks out in front the short stacks just keep sneaking up the payouts, with the last two bust outs coming from 2nd and 5th in chips.
