Texas Hold 'Em Poker for Xbox 360 free for two days
One for the gamers out there with Xbox 360's, Texas Hold'em Poker is free on Xbox Live Arcade, the only catch is you have to grab it fast. The game is going to be released at 1 a.m. PDT (GMT-7) on Wednesday, and will continue to be a free download for 48 hours, until 1:01 a.m. PDT on Friday. At that time, it will sell for 800 Microsoft points, or $10. So be sure to give this a download before the end of the week, or you'll miss out on the freebie.
The game is going to come equipped with a "persistent bankroll" that will hopefully keep people betting realistically; once that bankroll is gone, you can only play in smaller buy-in games until you can raise enough cash. Still, expect a lot of wild play as gamers new to poker flood the Xbox Live service. Texas Hold 'em also offers multiplayer support for up to eight gamers, three modes of gameplay (Standard Games, Scenarios, and Tournaments), achievements, extensive online leaderboards and statistics, and high-definition graphics.
While obviously its not the same as sitting down at a Poker.com sit'n'go, its still poker, and how often do you get freebies from Xbox!
