xxJoker22xx Update:
Joker22 started day 2(A+B) as the Poker.com chip leader with 48,350 in chips and wasted no time getting amongst the action.
Day 2 (A+B) highlights:
- After 4hrs play he had +70k in chips
- Won large pot to nearly double up
- Wins an all-in showdown: 99 vs 66
- Has a pair of Aces up his sleeve (tattoo)
MsRounders Update:
MsRounders has been right to the verge of elimination, but thanks to some well time moves and the respect of her table as done an effort to manage her stack for the past 2 days.
Or as she so elegantly put it, "I'm hanging in there as long as I can..."
At last count MsRounders was sitting at around 12,00 in chips, but with the ever increasing blinds and expensive ante, things are only going to get tougher.
Let's hope the old saying 'a chip and chair can ring true."
Bullitpete:
The final member of the Poker.com UK trio, Bullitpete, was eliminated from today's field after he was unable to build on his Day 1 chip stack of 8,100.
Final Hand: No Love From the Board
- Bullitpete is BB (short stack)
- Mid positions limps in
- Button limps in
- Bullitpete comes over the top
- Pushes all-in for 5,170
- 1st limper folds
- Button calls
- Board comes all low cards & rainbow
Showdown: Bullitpete - A4s Vs Opponent - A10os
Bullitpete busts to his callers 10 kicker
Cashflow5:
Sadly, Cashflow5 was the first Poker.com casualty suffered by the team today when he was unable to hit that much needed double up in the morning levels. His starting stack of 7,050 was always going to make lasting the table no easy task, but when he couldn't hit on the board, his WSOP cam to an honorable finish.
CashFlow5 Comments:
"Being one of the short stacks, I went all in on the 1st hand and ended up splitting the pot when my opponent and I bother revealed AK.
A few hands later I went all in with AQ and was called by the chip leader who had KQ. Nothing hit the board and I doubled up to $15,000.
But about half an hour later I limped into a 2-way pot with KJs.
The Flop comes K J 7 and BB bets 2000. I raise to 5000.
He goes all in and I call, but sadly he turns over pocket sevens and I am gone.
I wish I could have gone further today, but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and was glad to meet all the players and represent Poker.com... And with a little luck I hope to do it all over again next year."
PiggyMcPig
PiggyMcPig was one of the three Check'n'Raise" players that Poker.com offered to cover the cost of their WSOP ME seat, after some unfortunate happenings with the site where the original entry was won.
PiggyMcPig started rather well on Day 1B, but after a run of bad cards and some suspect calls by lose players, was eliminated from the main event...
After his exit from the WSOP he decided to try the Venetian Casino MTT with a $60 buy-in.... And I'm proud to say that PiggyMcPig finished in first place. All while wearing the his Poker.com cap.
Congratulations on your terrific result PiggyMcPig and hopefully you can go even further at next year's WSOP with Poker.com.
Poker.com Players on Day 2 (C+D):
Mazzawi - 24,300
dasdafac (Check'n'Raise) - 8,100
More updates tomorrow, so stay tuned.
