xxJOKER22xx
With nearly 50,000 in chips Joker has done more than just survive the first day, but has managed to set himself up nicely for the second round of the ME.

Highlight: Second Last Hand for the Night
With only 2 hands remaining until the end of the day, Joker made a big decision to either double up or go out with a bang.
- Mid position makes minimum raise
- Joker in late position re-raises
- BB re-raises all-in
- Table folds and Joker makes the call
- Showdown: Joker - AQh Vs Opponent - 10 10
Flop: J K 8 Turn: 9
River: 10
And with some luck on the river, his AQ became the nut straight

Let's hope the cards continue to fall favorably for xxJoker22xx

Nick Gibson
Unfortunately, Nick couldn't repeat his earlier WSOP performance of 6th place in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event.

After playing for roughly half the day Nick had double his starting stack and looking quite comfortable at his table. However, this all changed after one particular player decided to throw caution to the win and make some very questionable plays.

It was at this stage that Nick lost half his stack (1,100) to this lose cannon, after his pocket K's were cracked on the river by the monster starting hand - 45os.

Unlucky, Nickster...

FoxyUK
Another regular on the Poker.com site has sadly busted out on his first day in the ME.

However, after Foxy's result in the $5000 Pot-Limit Hold'em, which paid $142,128 for 3rd place, he is still ahead of his UK rivals, bullitpete and Sirlimpsalot.
