A Caribbean Adventure

I was lucky enough to be in the Bahamas this past week for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. I'd never been to the Bahamas before and the Atlantis resort is spectacular. It's a like a Las Vegas strip casino has been picked up and transplanted to a tropical beach.As a part of the week's celebrations we played a tournament with some of the PokerStars pros yesterday. Joe Hachem, Victor Ramdin, Chris Moneymaker, Isabelle Mercier and Alexander Kravchenko joined us for a quick freezeout. Hachem & Moneymaker were at my table and it was loads of fun, with not much serious poker played. It was more of a 'pick a hand and push' type tourney. I ended up finishing 4th after getting very lucky on some draws and Joe was the best placed pro, finishing 2nd I think...
I met a lot of the PokerStars staff at Atlantis too and I was really impressed with how much they love the company they work for - everyone seems happy to be a part of the 'PokerStars Family'.
Thanks for putting on a great event PokerStars! I highly recommended getting to one of their live events if you get a chance. Right now you can qualify for the European, Australian & Latin poker tours by playing online at PokerStars.
