Walter wins in New Orleans, but where's Don?
Walter Chambers, a Louisiana State University Alum has won the WSOP 'Bayou Poker Chalenge' Circuit event at Harrah's New Orleans, taking home $787,340 for his trouble.The final table started off like this.

SEAT 9: Mark Cole Chip Count – 107,000
Our favorite Rock (or is he a ring?) Antonio the Magician was at one time the chip leader, but he accidentally made all his chips dissappear.

It looks like Shana Hiatt's replacement on the World Poker Tour has been announced.
Harrah's have broken tradition this year and have moved the tournament away from Binion's Horshoe casino in old vegas on Fremont St, to their strip flagship, the Rio. Although it's a much bigger and better venue, some of the regular WSOP participants will no doubt miss the fight for winners bracelets in the familiar surrounds of the Horseshoe.
As a part of the new Wynn Las Vegas casino opening fanfare, Canadian born poker pro Daniel Negreanu has offered all comers the chance to play him heads up in a high stakes poker game of the challenger's choice.
So even Canadian Club whisky is cashing in on the world's poker craze by signing 2003 WSOP winner Chris Moneymaker to host Poker contests and represent their fading brand.
