If you have never had a chance to play in a big live tournament like the WSOP, you should check out the online equivalent - PokerStars' World Championshp of Online Poker.
PokerStars' premier tournament event is running from September 14-30. A lot of the tournaments have largish buy-ins but you are able to play satellites to win your seats.
All up there is $15 million in guaranteed prizes, and there's a lot more than just Texas Holdem tournaments available too. The main event is hold'em of course though, and has a whopping $5 million guaranteed prize pool. $5 million up for grabs in the one online poker tournament... That's crazy money - a lot more than most live tournies!
