Indian

Each player gets one card that the players place on their foreheads to see everybody's card but their own. Betting rounds ensue and the highest card wins the pot.

Description

See also Indian Poker a la Guts. This time-filler called by the dealer who can think of nothing else to call works by each player receiving one card. Players are reminded that they are not to look at their cards, only lift them up face-out and placed on their forehead. Done on the count of three, each player can now see everybody's card but their own.

The dealer will need to have determined how many betting rounds there will be (...betting rounds? it's almost a poker game). Hey, it's non-poker, the dealer may even determine that there is a draw of one card, separating two entire betting rounds. Whatever tactless ways in which the dealer spices up this one, the player who stays in the game and ends up having the highest single card at the table wins the pot.

It's a simple game, and makes for a funny scene when somebody who has never played it walks into the room and sees a table full of players holding cards on their foreheads. Make sure nobody can see their card from a reflective surface.
