Tens or Better

Tens or better is played with a standard 52 card deck. The payout structure follows the traditional five card poker hand rankings, with a royal flush at the top. The only difference between Tens or Better and Jacks or Better is the fact that in Tens or better a player will be paid for getting a pair of tens. This results in slightly better odds for the player, but it is reflected at the top end of the payout spectrum.

Players should also note that most video poker games will give you the option to double any wins you receive. If a player elects to gamble their winnings they will be dealt another five cards, one of them being face up. All the player has to do is select a card higher than the face up card and they will instantly double their prize.

Most online casino’s also offer video poker tournaments. In video poker tournaments a player buys-in and receives a nominated amount of tournament credit. The player who has the most credit at the end of the tournament will be declared the winner. Most video poker tournaments will offer prizes to the top players in the tournament. Players can also re-buy back into video poker tournaments once they are eliminated.
