The Bodog Poker Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed was recently won by a newcomer to the tournament named ‘giertje’.
Despite competing in a field of 441 against some of Bodog Poker’s toughest players, ‘giertje’ was able to take away $25,000. One of the greatest achievements that got ‘giertje’ the prize was going heads up at the end against ‘zubs1aa’, the winner of the Bodog Poker II Main Event. While ‘giertje’ won the top $25,000 prize, the players who came so close to victory also took a decent share of the prize money. Coming in second, ‘zubs1aa’ won a respectable $15,000 and ‘TheMasterJ33’ got $9,500 for third place.
The Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed is one of the best regular poker tournaments to play in at Bodog, in terms of both prize value and quality of the competition. The entry fee is $150 + $12, but Bodog does offer many satellite tournaments into the event. These satellites start from as little as $1 for the daily Cheap Seats tournament that awards a Sit and Go Semifinals seat for every $34 in the prize pool. The Semifinals have a buy-in of $31.50 + $2.50, but they have a first place prize of $162 tournament dollars, enough to cover an entry into the Sunday $100K Guaranteed or other major Bodog Poker tournaments. There are a few chances every day to win your way into the major Sunday, so earning a seat can be just a matter of time and stretching your bankroll if your poker skills are up to scratch.
Consider joining Bodog Poker if you think your Texas Hold ‘Em skills are good enough to win a share of $100,000. New players at Bodog can even benefit from a 110% bonus on first deposits of up to $500. 10% is paid out immediately, and the rest can be quickly earned by playing regularly at Bodog in real money games over your first 30 days there. With up to $550 to start out, and then $500 more to unlock if you make the maximum first deposit, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to practice your poker skills before playing for your shot at the Sunday $100,000 Guaranteed tournament at Bodog Poker.
