You can win your way into the WPT LA Poker Classic or the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship by playing in qualifiers at Full Tilt Poker.

Three times each week until late February 2010, you can play in qualifying tournaments offering prize packages into one of these live World Poker Tour events, worth $12,000. The package consists of a $10,000 buy-in to a WPT tourney, and another $2,000 to help cover travel and accommodation expenses.

The first of the qualifiers will be held each Sunday at 16:30 ET until 28th February. These tourneys will cost $500 + $35 to enter and will offer 2 prize packages. Tuesdays will have a qualifier at 21:00 ET, and these tourneys will run until 23rd February for an entrance fee of $300 + $22, with a single prize package to be won. On Thursdays at 21:00 ET, running until 25th February, you will be able to enter into a qualifier for $1,000 + $60 for at least 2 guaranteed prize packages.

If buying-in directly to one of these WPT qualifiers would cost too much, then you can enter satellite tournaments for these events. Satellites can cost as little as $24 + $1 for a qualifier into the Tuesday $300 + $22 qualifiers, or there are Sit N Go options for players with a bit more money and a stricter schedule. Many of these satellites will be Turbo tournaments, so be sure to play for position early enough.
