One of the world's most respected online gaming brands, Party Poker, is joining the Poker.com team.
We'l be welcoming Party Poker as a recommended poker room with a $500 free tournament on February 24 and more tournaments on the last Sunday of every month from now on!
Party Gaming has been operating an online poker room since 1997, and are listed as a public company on the London Stock Exchange. They are licensed by the government of Gibraltar and offer their games and software in many different languages, mainly focusing on the European market.
We here at Poker.com hadn't been playing at Party Poker for a little while, but we used to play there a lot and they were one of our most highly recommended rooms a few years back in the early 2000s when there were not as many different online poker rooms to choose from.
As often happens with the first big brand in a market, we left to play at all of the new and up & coming poker rooms. But it's always good to go back to your old neighbourhood and find that everything isn't just as you left it, but has improved out of sight!
Firstly the Party Poker software is now technically and aesthetically brilliant. It's still very simple to use, but with all the features you need to enjoy a good poker session. And with the 'Instant Play' option, you can play anywhere, anytime on any type of computer. Got a Mac or Linux machine? It's no problem - you can use the Instant Play software to play too.
And the game traffic is terrific. There's always plenty of opponents to match up against and multi-table tournaments and sit & gos starting.
