Titan Poker will begin holding monthly tournaments with a guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool from September.

Right now, players at Titan Poker can play in satellite tournaments to earn entry into the first Monthly Million tournament to be held on 13 September at 18:00 GMT. By starting at the lowest satellite level, players can earn their way into the main Monthly Million tourney for as little as $1.10. Those with a bit more cash and a lot more confidence, however, can enter directly into the main tournament for a buy-in of $500 + $35. Players will start the Monthly Million tournaments with 10,000 chips and the blinds will increase every 30 minutes. The first two tournaments are being held on the second Sunday of the month at 18:00 GMT, but this could change in later tournaments depending on how popular they are.

The new $1,000,000 tournaments will be the highest that Titan Poker has offered as a regular promotion. While the weekly $250,000 guaranteed tournaments at Titan have tempted players in the past, the new Monthly Million tourneys are sure to attract many more players from all over the world. This new monthly prize actually compares well against the $1,500,000 guaranteed prize of the European Championship of Online Poker main event that was held by Titan Poker earlier in the year. If such a large prize pool is now available on a monthly basis, this suggests that Titan Poker may have even bigger guaranteed prize pools to offer in their future tournament series.
