After the massive success of this year's World Championship of Online Poker, PokerStars has continued the party by announcing an array of special satellite tournaments for Tuesday, September 22.

Even though the WCOOP is over for another season, there are still plenty of events on offer at PokerStars. All you need to do is select Events in the PokerStars lobby, and then sort the Special Tournaments by date.

This Tuesday, September 22 will host a handful of lucrative tournaments including satellite events for the IPT Nova Gorica, the Baltic Festival, and even the Belgian Open Poker Championship.

There will be special PokerStars tournaments running throughout the week, so keep updated for regular announcements. If you haven’t signed up to PokerStars already, you can do so and earn yourself $600 free with your first deposit bonus.

Over $50 million was paid out during the 2009 WCOOP, including an incredible $1 million guaranteed No Limit Hold’em event hosted by PokerStars pro Chris Moneymaker. The event was eventually won by fellow PokerStars pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier - the win giving him his second World Championship of Online Poker bracelet.
