The players for the World Series of Poker Europe Championship Event Final Table have been decided, and it’s a star-studded line up going into the last stage of play.

The players at the final table are, in order of position:

1. Barry Shulman in seat 1 with 1,090,000 chips
2. Jason Mercier in seat 2 with 3,198,000 chips
3. Praz Bansi in seat 3 with 1,160,000 chips
4. Markus Ristola in seat 4 with 784,000 chips
5. Chris Bjorin in seat 5 with 518,000 chips
6. James Akenhead in seat 6 with 1,398,000 chips
7. Daniel Negreanu in seat 7 with 438,000 chips
8. Antoine Saout in seat 8 with 701,000 chips
9. Matt Hawrilenko in seat 9 with 674,000 chips

This could be one of the most difficult final tables this year. Mercier should be able to take it if he can play it smart and aggressively, but he isn’t exactly up against competition that is easily pushed around. 6 out of the 9 players have WSOP gold bracelets. Also, both James Akenhead and Antoine Saout are in the final table of the WSOP Main Event to be played in November. You can bet that the other November Nine players will be interested to see how these two handle themselves in the WSOPE championship final table.
