Titan Poker is the premier room on the iPoker platform - Europe's largest online poker network. Although they have only been in business a short time compared to some other poker rooms we recommend, they have quickly grown to become very popular.
This is largely due to their big deposit bonuses, modern, good looking software, multiple language and currency options and excellent player support.
Being part of a extensive online poker network allows Titan to offer some very large and generous promotions.
At the moment, they are giving players the chance to win entry to a $1 million sit & go tournament, giving away cash for limit hold'em play and are also offering packages to many live poker events. Visit the Titan Poker website for more information on their current promotions.
Titan Poker is offering all visitors from Poker.com an awesome bonus offer. Any player that signs up to play for real money will receive a 150% up to $500 bonus + $25 Free in their account + entry to a $1000 freeroll tournament. If you just go to to the Titan Poker website you will be offered a 100% $200 bonus, but if you click through from Poker.com - you will receive everything mentioned above!
Use bonus code PKRCOM - if you have signed up from Poker.com the bonus will automatically be available within your account. It's important that you use a link from this site.
They also offer regular re-load bonuses, and will let you know about these offers via email.
Titan Poker offers Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Stud and a range of casino games. As they belong to one of the internet's largest online poker game networks, there is always many opponents ready to play at all times of the day.
They offer more casino games than any other poker room, with blackjack, three card poker, caribbean poker, casino holdem, craps, roulette, video poker and slots.
Titan's software is provided by Playtech, a European public company, which is considered by many to develop the best combination of poker and casino software available online.
The Titan interface looks great and offers the same level of functionality as most other online poker software options. The only glaring omission is the ability to choose your position at the table. You are able to choose from a list of avatars to represent your table image and there is a smaller table view available for players that like to multi-table.
The ability to stop the 'All In' button being displayed is a feature that many no-limit players like, and the 'Hand Strength' indicator option is great for players new to poker.
There are always many opponents ready to play at Titan Poker due to the fact they are a part of Europe's largest poker network. They don't endorse many pro players, preferring to instead send teams of their regular online players to represent them at live poker events. We like this strategy , and recently Maik Daehling from Germany won the $200,000 Pokerface 2007 tournament in Las Vegas, earning the right to represent Titan at $100,000 worth of live poker tournaments over the next year.
As they focus primarily on the European & Canadian markets Titan chooses not to accept players from Antigua & Barbuda, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Estonia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Turkey or the United States.
There's tournaments starting at least every 30 minutes at Titan, with more during peak European times. There are special freerolls for beginners and regular freerolls that any player can enter.
They also run satellites to most live poker events and some special live poker events of their own. Every Friday there is $50,000 guaranteed tourney and every Sunday a $100,000 guaranteed. If you like to play tournaments, there is plenty of action here.
Their jackpot Sit & Go tournaments are unique to the iPoker network. If you play and win 4 'Dirty Dozen' sit & gos in a row, you win a $2000 prize. If you play and win 6 'Fort Knox' sit & gos in a row, you win $260,000, or $750 for 6 consecutive top two finishes. If you like sit & go tournaments, this is the place to play.
Titan Poker runs a VIP club that rewards players as they progress through the various tiers of membership. You can become a bronze, silver, gold or platinum VIP member before reaching the exclusive Titanium and Diamond levels. At the top levels of membership, players gain access to promotions such as WSOP freerolls, loyalty cash bonuses and larger reload bonus offers.
As you earn Titan Poker Points, you also gain entry to regular VIP freeroll tournaments. The points are awarded for both ring game and tournament play.
The rewards are a little difficult to reach for lower level players, but it is good that they have such an extensive program that gives everyone a chance to earn something extra for their loyaty to the site. We give their rewards program 4 stars.
Titan Poker seems to offer more deposit options than any other online poker site.
There's the usual credit cards - Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron & Delta - as well as numerous e-wallets and online payment services. NETeller, MoneyBookers, Click2Pay, Ecocard, WebMoney, ClickandBuy, PaySafeCard and wire transfers are all offered.
Cashouts are available via cheque or the e-wallet options listed above. Residents of some countries may even withdraw back to a Visa card, which is rarely offered these days due to changing credit card company rules.
Cashouts used to be a little slow sometimes, but when we reviewed Titan this time, we received our cashout to NETeller in less than 24 hours, which is great.
24/7 support is offered via email ([email protected]). The support team is always very friendly and can also be reached via live chat through the software. Don't be surprised if you are welcomed by a live support representative after logging in for the first time.
There's aso phone support offered if you prefer to speak to somebody - their international support number is +632-756-7927, with more country specific and toll free numbers available on their website.
Titan Poker support has always answered our questions quickly - especially via live chat. They even won the Gambling Online magazine 2006 award for the best online poker customer service.
Titan Poker is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission in Canada, one of the world's leading gaming regulatory authorities. They go into detail about the random number generator and security policies on the Titan Poker website.
We've met some of the European based Titan Poker staff and they are nice, friendly people. They are owned by a privately held company, but are a part of the publicly listed Playtech's poker network, so we have great confidence in their integrity and long term viability. They have shown they know how to run a great online poker business.
The playtech software is very good, but it doesn't seem to handle using multiple monitors very well, with pop up messages displaying all over the place. That's no problem to anyone using a single monitor though. I'd also like to be able to choose the position of my seat within the interface - I don't like being forced to sit at the top of the screen if that is the only seat available. It'd also be good to be able to join a waiting list from the table instead of having to do it from the lobby.
Some draw poker and mixed games would be good to add some variety to the available games and an Apple Mac option would be nice too.
Titan Poker is our number one choice for European online poker players. Their excellent software and support offers players many language options and the ability to keep their balance in pounds sterling or Euros, as well as the usual US dollars.
Their exclusive $500 bonus offer to Poker.com visitors is difficult to pass up if you are looking for an online poker room to try.
