Throughout the course of the 42nd World Series of Poker players are invited to attend any of the 11 free-admission seminars from respected poker pros relating to a number of different poker topics.
The WSOP, in conjunction with the Prevent Cancer Foundation and the Nevada Cancer Institute have teamed up to present what is being referred to as the ‘First Annual Bad Beat Seminar Series’.
Attendees will get in an insight into some of the world’s greatest poker minds with legends such as Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth sharing personal insights, instructions and playing tips prior to the start of play each day.
The hope is that those attending the seminar will consider either a twenty dollar donation or agree to pledge 1% of their WSOP winnings to the charity, with all donations to be made tax deductable.
All seminars will take place in the Brasilia Ballroom at the Rio Convention Center, which is just across the hall from the main tournament area.
All seminars will feature 45 minutes of lecture time/discussion, which will be followed by 15 minutes of audience questions.
