Recently, the team at poker.com brought you news of two approaching tournaments to be held at the breathtaking Punta Cana and St. Maarten islands as part of the Caribbean Poker Tour (CPT), as well as several ways you can win a trip and even a seat at these spectacular events!
Both stops are set to feature festival of poker tournaments and this week World Series of Poker bracelet winner Chad Holloway was announced to take part in the Learn.PokerNews tournament in St. Maarten.
“Learn.PokerNews is a great way for new players to learn about poker, and I’m thrilled they now have an event specifically designed for readers to test out exactly what they’ve learned” Holloway told Pokernews.com recently.
The Learn.PokerNews event has a buy-in of only $440 and is open to new player wanting to expand their knowledge in a professional environment.
“The Learn.PokerNews Challenge coincides with the CPT Main Event, World Poker Tour Main Event, and the Lucky Number 7 High Roller. Toss in a great venue and it has all the ingredients to be an exhilarating experience. I’m very much looking forward to it” Holloway concluded.
Both events will incorporate a $1,650 buy-in Main Event, but only St. Maarten will host a World Poker Tour Main Event, featuring a $3,500 buy-in, and the $7,000 Lucky Number 7 High Roller tournament.
