Negreanu is currently the unofficial chip leader with 136,050 in chips while Ivey is sitting in sixth place with 123,300.

This comes just days after the two did battle at the final table of the $2,200 Mixed Event that saw Ivey win his ninth World Series of Poker bracelet.

Hachem Finalizes Caesars Cup Team

2005 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Hachem selected Shane Warne, Andrew Hinrichsen and Richard Yong to fill out Team Asia Pacific that will compete in the Caesars Cup.

Shane Warne may not be the most recognizable name in the poker world but is one of Australia’s most well-known athletes.

Warne finished his test cricket career as the leading wicket-taker of all-time and is considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game.

Although he hasn’t quiet been able to repeat these heroics on the felt he did finish third in the 2010 Victorian Poker Championships $10,000 High Stakes Event.

Richard Yong is a high-stakes tournament specialist who finished eighth in the 2012 Big One For One Drop tournament and is reported to play in the ultra-high stakes poker games in Macau.

After competing at that level there is no doubt Yong can handle the pressure of the Caesars Cup.

Andrew Hinrichesen has been a consistent tournament performer for a number of years and took home a World Series of Poker bracelet for his victory in the 2011 WSOP Europe €1,000 No Limit Hold’em event.

Team Europe Captain Sam Trickett is yet to announce his team.

The Caesars Cup will take place this Sunday and we will keep you up to date with all the action at Poker.com.
