by | Published: Tuesday, June 11th, 2013

It is almost impossible to keep up to date with all the action taking place during the 2013 World Series of Poker with several WSOP gold bracelets handed out over the weekend!

Berger Wins $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Six Handed

Levi Berger overcame a roller coaster-like performance to win the $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em Six Handed event at the 2013 World Series of Poker.

Berger started the final day of the tournament as chip leader and ending up losing and retaking the lead on several occasions during a dramatic final table.

The Canadian was always at the center of the action and ended up eliminating every other player at the final table on his way to his first WSOP bracelet and the $473,019 first-place prize.

Rofman Wins $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em

Lev Rofman survived a nerve-wracking heads-up battle with leading poker professional Allen Cunningham to win the $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em event.

Cunningham was aiming to win his sixth career WSOP bracelet and on a number of occasions looked like he had the tournament won but Rofman was able to stay in the hunt and secured victory when his King-Queen held up against the King-Eight of Cunningham.

Rofman took home the first place prize of $166,136 while Cunningham recorded his forty-seventh WSOP cash and now sits twelfth on the World Series of Poker All Time Money List.

Taylor Adds Bracelet to WSOP Circuit Rings

WSOP Circuit regular Jonathan Taylor added a World Series of Poker Bracelet to his collection of Circuit Rings by winning the $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em on Sunday.

Taylor has been one of the stars of the WSOP Circuit in recent times; scoring three tournament victories in the last ten months including the 2013 Black Hawk $1,675 No Limit Hold’em Main Event, but the $454,424 first place prize was by far the biggest win of his poker career.

Despite only turning pro in 2012 Taylor has already accumulated over $750,000 in prizemoney and is quickly becoming one of the best new players on the tournament circuit.

Schneider Wins Third WSOP Bracelet

Tom Schneider claimed his third WSOP gold bracelet by winning the opening H.O.R.S.E. event of the 2013 World Series of Poker.

Schneider defeated a strong field of 862 players to take home the first place prize of $258,960 in what was his fourth cash of the event so far.

The Phoenix-native finished twenty-first in the same event last year and confirmed his reputation as one of the best mixed games player in the world by winning his first bracelet since his victories in the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better and $1,000 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or Better at the 2007 World Series of Poker.

Schneider currently sits in eighteenth place in the race to be 2013 World Series of Poker Player of the Year and if he is able to maintain his current form is an outside chance to become the first player to win the award on two separate occasions.
