The tropical island of St. Maarten will play host to the Caribbean Poker Tour (CPT) next month, and will offer a dozen events including a World Poker Tour Main Event and a $7,000 buy-in, seven-handed Lucky Number 7 High Roller Tournament, set to be hosted by German Poker Professional Tobias Reinkemeier.
This past week, the CPT released all the specifics players and fans will need to know in regards to this fantastic high-roller tournament.
The tournament will stretch over a three day period and will see all players begin proceedings with 70,000 in chips, with unlimited re-entries during the competition’s first 10 levels – the first re-entry will cost $6,000 and each proceeding will cost $5,000.
Levels 1-10 will last 30 minutes each, with all levels from 11 onwards scheduled to last one hour. Late registration for the tournament will remain open only until level 4 is completed.
CEO of the Caribbean Poker Tour Leon Groenewoud highlighted to pokernews.com recently the tournament as an amazing trip for any fan of poker, no-matter their level of skill and overall interest.
“The CPT is the holiday of a lifetime with poker included” Groenewoud said.
“This is an opportunity to take your friends and family with you, and they will love it. With each package you will play at least two tournaments, and you don’t need any money for food or drinks.
“With our adventure vouchers you can choose the activities you’ve always wanted to try!” Groenewoud concluded.
What is particularly great about this CPT stop is literally any poker player can qualify, and in a number of ways!
